From September 2026, schools are only allowed to require three branded items. At Braywood CE First School, these will be:

The green jumper or cardigan

The PE shirt

The PE sweatshirt

White Shirt – long or short sleeved
Grey Trousers, Shorts, Pinafore Dress or Skirt
Grey or Bottle Green Socks or Tights
Black shoes

PE KIT

Braywood Logo sweatshirt

Braywood Logo White round neck tee shirt
Bottle Green PE shorts
Trainers (plain / Velcro fastening)
Bottle Green jogging bottoms

SUMMER UNIFORM (Summer Term)

White polo shirt
Grey trousers, shorts, pinafore dress or skirt
Green and white gingham dress
Grey or white socks
Black school shoes / sandals

Most of these items are available from http://www.schooldaysdirect.co.uk

Other branded items can be purchased from schooldaysdirect (e.g. blazers, ties, fleeces) but these are no longer compulsory.
Non-logo items can also be purchased from high street retailers.
Expensive items of jewellery, watches, pens etc should not be brought into school.
Lost property can only be returned to owners when named.
A Lost Property box is kept outside the Year 3 classroom.

Second Hand Uniform 

Our PTA hold second-hand uniform sales where good quality uniform is available for parents to purchase at a reduced rate.          

Please ensure that your child's uniform (including coat and shoes) is clearly named. Lost items of uniform are kept for a term and then are put in the second hand uniform collection. 

Your child is not allowed to wear jewellery as a general rule for safety reasons. If your child has to wear earrings, these need to be simple studs and must be taken out or taped up for PE. Watches are only allowed if they do not have any special features and children are not allowed a mobile phone.
