Mrs Calvert's Weekly Message

Dear Parents,

I hope that you are all well.

Year 3 - don't forget to check out 'Children in Need - Duck Derby'. Your ducks are Claudia Sinkleman, Breaddie Mercury, Leonardo da Swimci and Audrey Peckburrn. We are looking for the top five winning ducks. It is great fun!

Your child came home with a happy bag today. If you do want to contribute then please bring your bag into school on the 27th November and leave it at the entrance you would normally pickup/drop off from every day.

Also attached is a letter from the Borough regarding starting school. Please pass the message on to your family and friends.

The borough has also asked schools to promote their teacher training programme. We are always heavily involved in this programme and our school has a significant role in the Windsor Learning Partnership Alliance who are responsible for delivering this training programme. There is a virtual open morning on Monday 23rd November through RBWM SCITT. If you are interested, please do attend. There is a flyer attached

Please note the Foundation parents meeting with Mrs Teeder has been rearranged for Tuesday 1st December from 8.30am to 3pm due to staffing.

Finally, there is a letter from Public Health England outlining the fact that we have a single case of Coronavirus in Year 3. This is a member of staff who has had to self-isolate through track and trace. As with pupils., all staff showing signs of being unwell are being asked to stay at home. We have been very successful in containing infections from outside the school and we hope that this is again the case.

Any questions do contact the office.

Have a lovely weekend.

Susan Calvert
